This CD-ROM contains:
- Two digital slide shows about the island of Bimini and the tropical coral reefs that surround it. The slide shows are formatted in high and low resolutions for computers with large and small screens. The slide show is narrated using WAV audio files. The first slide show illustrates the island of Bimini and its people, with photographs of the beaches, sunrises, wildlife, and everyday activities that make Bimini a special place. The second slide show illustrates Bimini's tropical reefs, with photographs of the fishes, corals, crabs, lobsters, sponges, sea turtles, and spotted dolphins that have brought ReefNews to Bimini on four different reserach expeditions.
- Volume 2 of the e-ReefNews electronic newsletter. The 16 issues of Volume 1 (2000-2001) contain text and photos of marine life and oceanography research. Formatted in both HTML and PDF for your web-browser and its Adobe® Acrobat® plug-in.

The CD-ROM is formatted for both PCs and Macs. (Catalog number RN-2001-01 is the CD for PCs exclusively, and catalog number RN-2001-02 contains the same information in a format that is compatible for either PCs or Macs.) It contains HTML-text, WAV-audio, and GIF- and JPG-picture resources for you to use with your web-browser software and its plug-ins. Your computer must have a CD drive, and a sound-card or similar device is necessary to play the audio files.
